Subaru outback heater fan noise. Jan 26, 2019 · If it's the heater/AC blower, and not the radiator fan (s) that is making the noise, then my apologies for going off track. It’s been like this since I got the car and I want to try and get rid of it. When the blower is unplugged the noise goes away. A short time ago something flew off of a vehicle and broke our grill in the front of the car. It's a high pitch whining noise, the pitch increased with the higher fan speed setting. it sounds like air in the coolant going through the core, anyone else have this problem?
